Contract
for supply and replacement of refill cans & alkaline
batteries of Auto Janitor machines (Automatic odour control
system) in pay & use toilets at Howrah Station for one
year.

Sealed
tender are invited from reputed well established working
contractors for the under mentioned works at Howrah Station.
The intending tenderer must have prior experience and proven
credential of similar work with unblemished performance
successfully and must have sufficient modern equipments with
infrastructure and trained technician and labourers to carry
out the job satisfactorily.

batteries of 96 Nos Auto Janitor machines (Automatic odour
control system) in pay & use toilets of Howrah
Station for a period of one year.

Eligibility
criteria of the tenderers are as under :-
| 1) |
The
tenderer should financial capability to undertake
the job successfully. A certificate from the
Banker shall be submitted.

| 2) |
The
tenderer shall be in possession of current sales
tax / vat clearance certificate and income tax pan
certificate on the name of agency or proprietor,
as the may be.
|

3) |
Proof
of experience for successful completion of similar
nature of work in any Govt./Public Organisation or
other Railways stating Order No., Date, Period of
contract, Value and Payment received with
performance report etc .

| 4) |
Tenderer
should be approved by RDSO/LKO. Documents must be
furnished with tender papers.
|
|
|
The
tender forms along with the detailed instructions can be obtained from the
office of Chief Health Director, Orthopaedic Hospital, Eastern Railway,
Howrah, on any working day between
07.05.09 to 16.05.09 up
to 14 hrs. on production of money receipt as mentioned above for each case
which is non-refundable as well as not transferable deposited with the
Chief Cashier, Eastern Railway, Kolkata, or Booking Supervisor, Eastern
Railway, Howrah. If the last date of selling tender form falls on Sunday,
Saturday or Holiday, the same will be given on next working day within
schedule time.

Tender
documents also available on Eastern Railway’s website, ‘wwweasternrailway.gov.in
& www.tendertimes.com’. This facility is available during the
above mentioned period and the same can be downloaded and used as tender
documents for submitting the offer. Application made in such form shall be
considered valid only when the bidder submits a demand draft/ banker’s
cheque of any National Bank of India of Rs.2000/- (Rupees two
thousand Five hundred only) (non refundable) drawn in favor of FA &
CAO, E.Rly./ Kolkata as cost of tender form along with tender
documents.

As
per estimate cost of the works, the earnest money for the tender as
mentioned above is to be deposited along with Tender either in cash
deposit to Chief Cahier ,E.Railway, Kolkata or through Demand Draft / Pay
Order of any Nationalized Bank drawn in favour of FA & CAO, Eastern
Railway, Kolkata. Any tender received without prescribed amount of earnest
money is liable to be summarily rejected. No interest will be paid for the
deposited earnest money. Only those tenderer(s) able to fulfill the
prescribed conditions may quote their rates and the Railway administration
reserves the right to reject any of the tenders irrespective of higher /
lower rates without assigning any reason thereof and may opt for
retendering.

Tenders
in sealed covered duly super scribing the Tender Notice Number, name of
work and date of dropping shall be received upto 14.00 hrs on 18.05.09
in the prescribed tender box either in the office of Chief Medical
Director, Eastern Railway, Kolkata, 14, strand road (12th
floor) NKG Building , kolkata or in the office of Chief Health Director,
222, Church Road, Howrah-711101, Orthopaedic Hospital, Eastern Railway and
the tenders will be opened at 15.00 hrs. on the same date, in the
same office in presence of the Tenderer’s representative. No tender
shall be accepted by post or/ and after the schedule time & date of
dropping in the tender box . If the last date of dropping falls on holiday
or Saturday, tenderers can drop their form on next working day and tender
box will be closed and opened on the same date and time.
